A physically challenged girl, leads a simple and happy life indoors, together with her beloved guzheng and a butterfly. One day, alas, the butterfly flies away, leaving the girl longing for its return. Where has the butterfly gone? Only into the garden to search for friends to flitter and flutter and inspire the child to go outside to play. Will she be brave enough to leave her comfort zone?
Specially designed for 3- to 6-year-olds, Pure Box’s production presents an imaginative combination of live guzheng music, physical movement, puppetry, and multimedia design to stimulate early learners’ interest in the arts as well as provide a touching story of courage.

“Fly High! My Butterfly” Parent-child Puppet-making Workshop
How does a butterfly flutter its wings? How do they dance so gracefully in the air? In this puppet-making workshop, participants find out how to create their own butterfly puppet and to elegantly choreograph their butterflies in flight.
